Concierge Services

Hands of Time offers a wide range of personal concierge services to help you get the most enjoyment out of your busy life. Here you will find service categories and listings for our most popular services, but in reality the services available are only limited by your imagination. If you do not see what you are looking for contact us with your request. We are happy to serve you in any way possible as long as it is feasible and your request is legal.

  • Shopping - gift (purchasing, wrapping, delivery), groceries
  • General Errands: i.e. pharmacy, post office, dry cleaners
  • Home Check - water plants, reset lights and window coverings, take in mail and newspapers
  • Service Visits - coordinate and wait for: plumbers, electricians, furniture deliveries
  • Organization - closets, storage areas, rooms, files
  • Moving Services - Packing up your home and coordinating your move

    Terms and Conditions

    à la Carte Pricing
    We charge our customers an hourly rate for the services we provide. There is a minimum charge of one hour. After the first hour, services are billed in 15 minute increments. Hourly rates include travel time. They do not include purchases made on behalf of our clients, or services secured for our clients through third party vendors.

    Monthly Retainer
    Clients have the option to retain our personal concierge services for a specified number of hours on a monthly basis. Hours are prepaid at the beginning of each month with a minimum of five hours. When retaining our personal concierge services on a monthly basis, the rate based on the number of hours contracted.

    Cancellations
    We ask that you provide us with 24 hours notice when cancelling a service request.

    Payments
    Currently we accept checks, money orders, cash and traveler's checks.
  • Monthly retainers must be paid for up front.
  • Payment for all à la carte services is due upon completion.
  • Charges incurred as a result of a service request i.e. ticket purchase, grocery shopping, are due upon completion of the service.

    Hours of Operation
  • Our regular business hours are Monday - Friday 9AM to 6PM
  • For an additional charge, weekends/evenings can be requested. We are available Saturday 9AM to 4PM, and Sunday noon - 5PM, as well as evenings by appointment.
